Photo can be manipulated but cropping them down to certain things within the picture doing this gives a different look and opinion of the picture. Its done to change the meaning and opinion of things it is also used as a weapon.
They are used to change the truth and it is used as a weapon to have against people like erase them out off it or there past or even add things it to frame others. in Vietnam picture taking has been banned because it showed to much about the truth and made many people change there opinion.
Juxtaposition is one image placed next to another this is used to change the meaning of the event completely and also the concept behind a photo. different people have a different prospective on the same image witch can alter the meaning in may ways.
The media are so called the ones to blame becuase they will manipulate an image to get more attention and make storys more exiting and envolved.
